Visual Literacy

Archived recording (Nov. 7, 2013)

Visual literacy is central to success in life and learning in the 21st century. Although many students are visual learners they are not necessarily visually literate. This session explores literacy strategies designed to help students read and communicate effectively with traditional visual media, strengthening their critical thinking skills.  Practical examples will be explored.
