OTF is very proud of its charitable initiatives that help others achieve their goals.

At its Annual Meeting in August, OTF announced the launch of a special campaign to support the Ontario Trillium Gift of Life Network. It offers the opportunity for teachers to give back by becoming organ and donors. Currently in Ontario, there are over 1,500 people on the waiting list for an organ transplant. One donor can save up to eight lives through organ donation as well as enhance the lives of up to 75 others through tissue donation. OTF has supported numerous other organizations; some examples being Kids Help Phone, Children's Mental Health Ontario, and the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Thanks to the generosity of OTF staff, numerous organizations have received support during the past year, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Adopt a Family and the Daily Bread Food Bank.
