OTF Charitable Support

OTF is very proud of its charitable initiatives that help others achieve their goals.

One, in particular, is OTF’s support for and involvement in the Lieutenant Governor’s Aboriginal Literacy Summer Camps. This involvement, in partnership with Frontier College, is going into its 4th summer. The major focus of the camps is the improvement of the literacy skills of aboriginal youth which will, in turn, increase their self-esteem and provide activities during the summer months away from school. The Lieutenant Governor’s Office continues to sponsor a book drive for aboriginal youth.

If you or your school would like to contribute to this program, check out the Lieutenant Governor’s website: www.lt.gov.on.ca/en/Causes or the Frontier College website: www.frontiercollege.ca.

OTF has supported numerous other organizations; some examples being the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, Kids Help Phone, and the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Thanks to the generosity of OTF staff, numerous organizations have received support during the past year, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Adopt a Family, Sick Kids Hospital, the Daily Bread Food Bank and the Children's Wish Foundation.
