Need to find
some added training in your teaching area? Then OTF is your
source. OTF offers professional learning programs, which provide
training, resources, and support in numerous areas. The project,
funded by the Ministry of Education, has hosted several conferences
such as “Expanding Our Boundaries,” which explored the potential
of on-line collaboration for teachers as professionals and
for classroom learning; ran the successful Camp OTF; and developed
such supports as the PD calendar and on-line resources. OTF
publishes a professional learning newsletter which is distributed
to all teachers. These activities, as well as numerous others,
have made the professional learning project the place for
teachers to go for professional and classroom support.
As well, OTF was involved in the Survive and Thrive
and Safe@School projects,
both of which were successful and on-going. |
