This introductory course explores the theoretical foundations, development of learners, program planning and implementation, assessment, the learning environment and ethical considerations related to teaching and learning online. Candidates will participate in an adult learning model, where they will create support networks, receive feedback from colleagues and instructors, and share the products of their learning with others. Candidates will be engaged in digital opportunities for learning in our ever-evolving technological age.
Prerequisites:
- Certificate of Qualification and Registration or Interim Certificate of Qualification and Registration (ICQR) or ICQR (Limited) with the Ontario College of Teachers.
