ExpiredThe Role of Questioning in Inquiry: Let’s question questioning!

Who asks the questions?  What are excellent questioning strategies for teachers? How might this accommodate each and every student’s voice? How do we support students in developing ‘fat’ and ‘skinny’ questions? What kinds of questions are there? Planning. Monitoring. Reflecting. These metacognitive elements are essential in any inquiry-based approach to learning.  What kinds of questions support a variety of thinking levels?  What is the role of technology in supporting collaborative learning?
