Integrating media literacy into the secondary English classroom

Using a Grade 10 English narrative unit as an example, we’ll explore how teachers might use online tools to deliver a media-literacy-integrated approach to the English curriculum? Using students’ prior knowledge and Google apps, teachers can manage a narrative unit that helps students understand and appreciate story codes and conventions and the roles that stories play in their lives.
