Job posting-Director, Pension and Economic Affairs

OTF is seeking an educator to join its senior professional staff, effective July 1, 2025, as its Director of Pension and Economic Affairs.

Qualifications and experience
Reporting to the Secretary-Treasurer and the OTF Executive, the successful candidate, who will be a senior member of the OTF staff, will have demonstrated competence in the areas outlined below. They will work as part of the OTF professional team to advance the six legislated objects of OTF, particularly with respect to pension policy. This position will be of interest to a self-motivated educational leader, able to work co-operatively and collaboratively, with a proven record of effective teacher advocacy.

Primary responsibilities for this position include pension policy and legislation as it relates to the OTPP and coordination of research related to pensions and economic policy and liaison with stakeholders, such as the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). Other duties will be assigned by the Secretary-Treasurer.
