Orange Shirt Day

A message from Parker  Robinson, OTF President

“Recent events in Canada and the US have again shone a spotlight on the marginalization of racialized people. As educators, we have a moral and ethical duty to shift this conversation and work to change attitudes and practices,” states Parker Robinson, OTF President. “Today, September 30, marks Orange Shirt Day, when we recognize the injustices and intent of the Canadian residential schools and continuing adverse effects on Indigenous peoples.”
