The Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF) joins this celebration of all teachers, but especially those who teach in Ontario’s publicly funded education system.
“The theme this year for Canadian teachers is Addressing Violence, Building Respect. Teachers work every day to build safe, inclusive environments for our students,” states Chris Cowley, OTF President. “It is the professionals in the classroom that make publicly funded education work.”
