Annually on October 5th we celebrate World Teachers’ Day and here at OTF we could not be more proud of the teachers in our publicly funded schools. Each day, our members bring their expertise, dedication, and professionalism to every classroom in the province and teach our students the love of learning.
Over the course of the pandemic, the dedication of Ontario’s teachers has kept students learning both in person and online and shows that teachers will do what it takes to ensure our students have the tools they need to be active and engaged future citizens.
I know the stresses on your professional lives have mounted as a result of COVID-19, but I want you to know that your passion for learning and for our students is what keeps Ontario’s publicly funded education system among the best in the world.
