The Special Education Part 2 course provides candidates with professional learning experiences related to teaching, learning and assessment of learners. The course explores current Ministry of Education policies, frameworks, guidelines, strategies and resources and Ontario legislation and regulations that inform Special Education practices. The course delves further into the Identification, Placement, and Review Committee (IPRC) process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation. The course focuses on developing inclusive and equitable programming for students with special education needs.
