Learning to be Engaged Citizens: Applying Authentic Inquiry in Social Studies

We will explore applying authentic inquiry (learning directed by students’ questions, group knowledge building and making learning visible) and associated transformative learning strategies in addressing social studies expectations. Participants will experience a professional inquiry approach with facilitators from Learning for a Sustainable Future and the Eric Jackman Institute for Child Studies.
