Exploring transformative pedagogies using professional inquiry methods.

Who should attend?
• Elementary teachers of all grades who wish to explore how authentic inquiry is being applied across the curriculum
• School administrators and system leaders who wish to support implementation of transformative pedagogies supporting engaged citizenship.

Outcomes—through their participation, educators will:
• Identify and address their individual questions and challenges applying inquiry and related strategies in their professional practice
• Experience professional inquiry methods that can in turn be applied with students.
• Investigate collaborative knowledge building principles and methods such as Knowledge Building Circles.
• Gain confidence in planning authentic inquiry learning experiences and applying appropriate assessment methodology.
