The series offers practical strategies and ready-to-use tools to help new teachers start the school year in a good way. Suitable for educators of all subject areas and grades, this learning series will explore questions including:
How do I create a community of thinkers where each of my students feels a sense of safety, belonging, and connection?
How do I get to know my learners early and in meaningful ways that will help me plan?
How do I plan a lesson, a unit, and a year?
What kinds of questions, activities, and tasks will engage my students in meaningful ways?
How can I think about and plan for assessment to support learning right from the start?
Series Format and Dates
Each course includes 4 live sessions (75 minutes each) via Zoom. Participants register for the complete series.
