Effective guidance leadership connects policy to practice and vision to action. In this course, you will develop the skills to lead ethical, inclusive, and future-focused guidance and career education programs that respond to diverse learners, emerging trends, and evolving system priorities.

This course focuses on leadership in Guidance and Career Education, with an emphasis on equity, collaboration, and learner well-being. As a guidance leader, you will examine how inclusive programming supports meaningful pathways for all learners. You will reflect on ethical decision-making, dismantling systemic barriers, and integrating Indigenous perspectives into your practice. Throughout the course, you will connect policy to practice, explore emerging trends, and develop strategies to lead responsive, learner-centred programs that adapt to evolving school and community needs.
