You will explore strategies for leading change, evaluating outcomes, and sustaining growth in learning communities. Key areas of focus include data-informed decision-making, instructional improvement, equity in practice, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Guided by your facilitator and mentor, you will refine your ability to align vision, resources, and accountability to drive measurable progress for students and staff.
Course learning is supported through applied readings, structured activities, and guided reflection that help you plan, advance, or consolidate your practicum work. The experience is designed to strengthen your professional judgment and reinforce the leadership competencies outlined in the Ontario Leadership Framework (OLF).
By the end of the course, you will have strengthened your ability to design, implement, and evaluate school improvement initiatives grounded in evidence, collaboration, and equity-focused leadership.
