Starting in 2012, students in Ontario schools are now expected to receive financial literacy training to develop financial literacy skills in preparation of their future. Are your students prepared? The City, a resource developed by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and the British Columbia Securities Exchange, provides teachers with the knowledge, lesson plans, activities and assessments they need in their classroom. Participants in this workshop will explore activities, best practices and helpful hints for financial literacy instruction in their classroom.  You can contact Jeff Balch to request The City binder which includes all the necessary information.
