Gamification and Game-Based Learning: Assessment and Evaluation

Description:

How do students succeed in game-based learning environments?  How can the education system and daily classes be restructured with the best of what games have to offer?  This session will focus on how assessment and evaluation practices can be designed to appeal to all learners, allow for different paces and paths for students to achieve mastery of their learning, and offer students the opportunity to complete tasks both individually and as part of a team while facing increasingly challenging tasks and succeeding on their own terms.
