Media Literacy Week Celebration! The fun of teaching through and about Media Literacy

The week of October 25 – 29, 2021 is Canada’s Media Literacy Week! Come and celebrate with the Association for Media Literacy. Teaching media literacy is fun! This session will provide K-12 educators with practical strategies to embed media literacy into their programs. Participants will explore the concept of teaching through and about media literacy as a practical tool to use to support K-12 learners. Participants will leave with engaging and inspiring ideas that support educators to teach your subject and media literacy simultaneously to build on students’ digital literacy skills and reflect their experiences.
