Candidates in the Senior Geography ABQ course examine and implement curriculum planning and program development through on-line demonstrations, presentations, directed readings, seminars, and interactive discussions. Learning experiences focus on characteristics of learning orientations, evaluation, assessment and instructional strategies as they apply to senior level geography.
Prerequisites
- Certificate of Qualification:Must be registered with the Ontario College of Teachers or hold an interim Certificate of Qualification. Must hold an acceptable university degree or equivalent. It is no longer necessary to send in a copy of your Certificate of Qualification. We have access to this information via the OCT Public Registry.
- 2 Full University Degree Credits in the Subject:
Official transcript(s) showing proof of successful completion of a minimum of 2.0 university degree credits or the equivalent in the teaching subject.
PLEASE NOTE:
1.0 university degree credits is the equivalent to 1 full year course, or, 2 half-year courses.
