This course will focus on developing a leadership role in kindergarten education including the development of skills necessary to plan and present inservice programs. Kindergarten and emergent curriculum development, implementation, and assessment practices, based on the application of conceptions of childhood and current models for early childhood education; play-based learning, and responsive pedagogies, will also be included.
