Getting Started with Play and Inquiry

In this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • set the stage for a successful play and inquiry-based classroom by examining the classroom environment, schedule, and partnership between students, parents, and other educators in the room;
  • begin with inquiry-based learning by looking at the inquiry process, provocations, and observations (noticing and naming the learning);
  • document and assess inquiry using digital tools, learning stories and pedagogical documentation with a focus on the new Kindergarten Growing Success document;
  • share learning with parents through learning binders and digital tools (Google Drive, See Saw, Twitter, etc)
