Teaching Math Through Problem Solving Meets Web 2.0

As students collaborate with peers to co-construct their understanding of new math concepts great conversations are occurring but, all too often, they are lost in the moment and pencil-paper archives don’t always do them justice.  This session explores ways of using (free) web 2.0 tools to capture the sights and sounds of a problem-solving math classroom.  These captures can then be used to share learning with classmates, to create digital assessment portfolios, to provide parents with access to what is happening in the classroom,…the list might be endless.
