Brightspace by D2L is a learning management system available to all educators and students in Ontario’s publicly-funded schools. The discussion tool within Brightspace is a very robust tool for supporting effective online discussions to supplement any face-to-face class. Participants will explore how to record audio and embed and share media through online discussions. In addition to the technical aspects of having online discussions with your class, this session will also discuss and share ideas around prompts and tips to developing skills for sustaining rich online discussions.
