In Conversation With…Michelle Cordy

Our expert facilitator Joanne Myers will explore and celebrate phenomenal teaching and learning with outstanding teacher Michelle Cordy.

Michelle Cordy is currently a grade 3 teacher in London, Ontario.  She has taught most grades from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Ms Cordy estimates she has taught over 500 children so far. Michelle has also been a speaker and teacher educator. Her speaking highlights include keynoting the 2016 International Society for Technology in Education conference, travelling throughout Canada and the US as well as China to lead professional learning and teaching at Western University in the Bachelor of Education program.  She holds a Master of Education and has published articles in peer reviewed journals on the topic of math education. At one time, she used the self-proclaimed title of Applied Researcher and nobody stopped her. Though not an expert, Michelle has seen Sasquatch and has taken up baking sourdough bread and fly fishing in recent years. She aspires to wear fancy hats and teach children to be curious and kind.
