Pathways to student success in Social Studies, History and Geography: Exploring engaging possibilities

In this webinar, participants will examine approaches, strategies, habits of mind and resources that lead to deeper learning, critical thinking and skill development in the areas of inquiry, historical thinking, and global competencies. Participants will also explore an approach and resources, developed by the Ontario Elementary Social Studies Teachers Association, that support learning through an anti-oppressive lens. Finally, participants will explore approaches, strategies and resources that can also be used across the curriculum, in virtual and in-person learning environments, to foster student engagement and achievement.
